These terms apply when you book or use a clinic visit, home visit or online consultation with Dr. Foram Kothari Shah through this website, WhatsApp or phone.
Services
Dr. Foram Kothari Shah, MBBS, is registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council. The clinic offers clinic consultations, home visits and online video consultations. Fees are listed on the Refund & Cancellation page and on the home page.
Online consultations
- Online consultations follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, and are for patients located in India.
- Your consent is taken before every online consultation.
- All diagnoses and prescriptions are decided only by the doctor. A prescription is issued only when clinically appropriate.
- Online prescriptions are limited to a maximum of 3 days of medicines. Medicines restricted for telemedicine are not prescribed online.
- The doctor may ask you to visit the clinic, get tests done or see a specialist if an online consultation is not enough.
Not for emergencies
Online consultation is not a substitute for emergency care. For chest pain, breathlessness, unconsciousness, severe bleeding or any life-threatening situation, call 108 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
Your responsibilities
- Give correct and complete details about your health, medicines and allergies.
- Use the prescription only for the patient it was issued for.
- Be on time. Late arrival may shorten the consultation.
Payments
Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments. The clinic does not see or store your card or bank details. Refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
